Honefoss. Civic Celebration Day. And National Dress.

We needed a hub for finding Halfdan the Black about 810-860 CE, father of Harald Fairhair, who was the first broad-based king of Norway. We found this town that was enjoying a self-congratulatory day for being a fine place to live.  We agree.  And a man in black knickers and white stockings with ribbons is not to be resisted. Male national dress:

This day also celebrated the sports-tumbling-longjump skills of local school students.
